GPFL are continually implementing and measuring trials of various nature on our tree farms, to gather intellectual and relevant data of  site specific effects of silvicultural operations.

The trials are conducted in relation to a control plot against strategic permanent sample plots, and may be used to evaluate the effect on growth of such things as: 

The plots are consistently measured and the data analysed to measure the consequence of the trial, and this knowledge used to benefit our future management practices.
